All while receiving the resources and support you need to advance your career and be the force behind the cures. St. Jude is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Outpatient Unit. The LPN provides patient centered age appropriate care in a professional manner via collaboration with the RN/MD through the use of clinical skills and educated judgements to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monday- Friday 7a-245p with minimal weekend requirement. Holiday requirement Minimum Education and/or Training: Graduate of a school of nursing required. Minimum Experience: Minimum requirement: 2+ years of nursing experience. Experience in pediatric or oncology nursing preferred (not required). Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to patients from birth to early adulthood depending on duties in the assigned unit. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development for all ages served. Demonstrate ability to assess and interpret age-specific data. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by Law: (LC: LPN-TN) Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing LPN license if primary residence is Tennessee or a non-Nurse Licensure Compact state. (LC: LPN-ARK or LPN-MISS) Must possess a current State Board of Nursing LPN license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
