Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse with Pediatrics experience!

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform a variety of clinical support tasks to assist providers in treating private patients in a very busy Manhattan Pediatric office. The workload includes approximately 150 patients. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude coupled with an impeccable bedside manner, as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesAssist providers in treating pediatric patients.Perform phlebotomy and other lab tests.Conduct patient triage and provide patient care.Use electronic medical records (EMR), specifically eClinicalWorks.Perform routine tasks such as taking vitals and other clinical support duties.Essential SkillsValid LPN License.At least 1 year of pediatric experience.Experience with phlebotomy.Experience with lab tests.Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), particularly eClinicalWorks.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work under stress.Experience in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment

The work schedule varies with shifts from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, or 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Weekend shifts are required on a rotational basis, with hours from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The office is a very busy pediatric practice, handling around 150 patients per day. The role offers 2 weeks of PTO, medical, dental, and 401K benefits, as well as opportunities for overtime hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00
