Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and preparing patients for provider examinations and treatments, maintaining equipment, engaging in patient and family education, and performing various clinical tasks including rooming patients, taking vitals, and conducting blood draws.
ResponsibilitiesGreet and prepare patients for provider examinations and treatments.Maintain equipment properly before and after procedures.Engage in patient and family education to achieve the desired patient outcomes.Room patients, take vitals, and call patients with lab results.Perform blood draws and other clinical tasks as needed.Essential SkillsLPN CertificationIV Certification (though IVs will not be used in the clinic setting)Basic Life Support (BLS)Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferably EPICFamily care experiencePatient education skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentCritical thinking and multitasking abilitiesTechnology proficiencyAdditional Skills & QualificationsGraduate of an accredited practical nursing program or military equivalentExperience in any clinic setting or primary careSpecialty experience in areas such as G.I, Cardio, Surgery, or Mental Health is a plusOpen to brand new LPNsWork Environment
The position involves working in a physician's clinic with multiple specialties. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with 8-hour day shifts. The environment is fast-paced and requires critical thinking and multitasking. The role includes a dress code appropriate for a clinical setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.60 - $33.02/hr.
