✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! The Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse at St Clair Youth Treatment Center in Mt Clemens, Michigan✨

St Clair Youth Treatment Center, located in Mt. Clemens, is a secure, residential treatment program that serves male high school youth (ages 12-18) who have mental health, substance abuse and/or behavioral needs. As an Evidence-Based Mental Health Program (EBMH), St. Clair prescribes evidence-based, trauma-informed therapeutic services, involves the family and community, and offers diverse social and educational opportunities that fosters a culture of learning, growth, and achievement. The St. Clair campus features single rooms, an indoor gym, library classroom space, kitchen and dining hall, and outdoor basketball courts and green space. 

Pay: $27 per hour

What you will do: The Nurse works as a staff member of the Student Services Team. Primarily responsible for the health care of the students, maintains all student medical files and educates staff and students on health issues, first aid, infectious controls and emergency procedures.

To be considered you should:

High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from the state in which employed.

Minimum of two years of previous medical services administration, including demonstrated experience in operating and securing comprehensive health services programs.

Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.

Schedule: Two 12-hour shifts per week (Friday is required)
