Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a busy Primary Care Office. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This role requires at least one year of LPN experience and an active Connecticut LPN license. Epic experience is highly preferred.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care and patient education.Conduct triage and assessment of patients.Utilize electronic health records to document patient information.Perform EKGs and assist with stress tests.Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.Maintain honesty and integrity in all patient interactions.Speak up if something is wrong and maintain a positive attitude.Essential Skills1+ years of LPN experience.Active CT LPN License.Experience with medical terminology.Proficiency in electronic health records.Experience in patient care and patient education.Ability to perform EKGs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Epic systems.Experience in triaging.Registered Nurse (RN) license is a plus.Work Environment
The position is based in a busy Primary Care Office with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The work environment is fast-paced and requires a friendly and reliable individual who works well under stress. The team consists of various healthcare professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive care.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
