Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care under the direction of a Registered nurse.

Required Qualifications* Graduation from an approved School of Practical Nursing. Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan. National Association for Practical Nurse Education & Services (NAPNES) certification or completion of a pharmacology course in an accredited program. Experience in Patient instruction and telephone interaction with patients.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires extensive standing/ walking as well as lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring of patients.

Minimum of one year of ambulatory care experience.
Bilingual- Spanish
Demonstrated record of excellent attendance.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of UMHS Policies and Procedures.
Efficient in EMR; i.e. MiChart, Epic Program.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced clinic setting.
Ability to solve problems and prioritize multiple tasks.
Computer skills and knowledge related to test and procedures.
Work ScheduleHours/Week: 40 hours/week (full time). Shift: Monday-Friday; Day shift
Candidate must be flexible with scheduling.
Location: Ypsilanti Health Center
