Responsibilities: EDUCATION + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing + Licensed to practice in New York State EXPERIENCE + One (1) year clinical nursing experience, BLS Required + Critical care classes, sedation or other advanced orientation may be required based on specialty assignment KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY + Communicates clearly and timely both verbally and in writing to advance positive patient outcomes and organizational goals and objectives + Conducts self in a professional manner + Demonstrating professional competence + Communicates with a positive and caring attitude + Demonstrates ability to perform work in an accurate and timely manner + Able to Demonstrate commitment to professional practice by: + Adhering to professional practice standards + Participating in Quality Improvement Process + Adhering to principles of Patient Bill of Rights WORKING CONDITIONS: ENVIRONMENT + May be exposed to disagreeable conditions: odors, communicable diseases, infections, injuries from patients or equipment + Strenuous positions: pushing, lifting patients, on feet most of the day REQNUMBER: 34510
