Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: • Medication administration and specimen collection;• Attentiveness to patients’ medical and other needs;• Provision of nursing treatments; • Gather patient measurements, signs and symptoms;• Conduct building checks for safety hazards and ensuring patient safety;• Crisis intervention;• Complete documentation in patient electronic medical records, as well as staff communication logs and other required forms as needed; • File patient record forms in the appropriate location within the record; • Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications A license to practice as a practical nurse in New York State. Candidate must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.
