In anticipation of a future government contract award, GiaCare Inc. is now accepting applications for a experienced, civilian Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in support of the 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base (Florida). 

Qualifications

Degree/Education: High School diploma/GED and graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Taken and passed NCLEX-PN board.Certifications:  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification approved by American Red Cross or American Heart Association.  Experience:  At least one (1) year of nursing.Licensure/Registration:  Maintain an active, valid, current, and unrestricted license  to practice nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse in any US state/jurisdiction. 

Duties

Shall initiate, perform and complete assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations. LPN/LVN shall be assigned to any outpatient clinic according to assignment of the chief nurse/medical technician.Shall complete assigned patient care based on the patients conditions, use judgement in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments, and accurately recognize, report and record relevant patient information.Shall observe, identify and respond to the patient’s needs for care including medication, equipment-assisted care and patient/family education.
