Location: American Health Network, a Part of Optum: 3631 N. Morrison Muncie IN 47304
Schedule:  Monday - Friday between 7am-6pm / No evenings, weekends, or holidays!
Specialty: Family Practice

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’s Administer injections and collect specimens Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures

Required Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or GED Active, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Indiana

 

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR certification Additional healthcare certifications including ARRT, CEHRS, CBCS, CMAA, CPT EMR/EHR experience Experience with NextGen medical record software Experience with medical front office and back office duties including vitals, phlebotomy, injections, casting/splinting, administering medications, referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications
