Your contributions will be vital in fostering a supportive environment that promotes recovery and well-being. **Key Responsibilities of this LPN:** + Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the chemical dependency unit. + Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. + Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and medication administration. + Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families. + Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care. **This LPN will support our chemical dependency unit, assisting patients requiring mental health care in relation to substance abuse. The hours of this role will be 3:00PM - 11:00PM and working 56 hours every two weeks.** **Licensure/Certification Qualifications:** + Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of employment. + Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification **or** obtained within 3 months of employment. + In accordance with Minnesota Rules 9530.6450 Subpart 1-B; all employees must be free of chemical use problems for at least one year immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact. Chemical use problems are defined as: Receiving treatment for chemical use within the period specified for the position in the staff qualification requirements.
