Med Surg LPN Position Summary

The Med Surg LPN provides general nursing care to a diverse population of patients affected by cardiopulmonary, neurological, and surgical conditions. . The Med Surg LPN works under the supervision of an RN to provide direct patient care. The Med Surg LPN participates, with the RN in planning care for a broad spectrum of patients. This position is specifically for nursing students that would like to gain clinical, hands-on experience while attending nursing school.

Med Surg LPN Position Requirements

Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency  American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Currently enrolled in a nursing program.

Med Surg LPN Work Schedule

May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy. Scheduled off at least three holidays per year. Required to work weekends per unit need. Expected to work overtime on occasion.

Med Surg LPN Benefits
