Job Description​

Our Family Medicine clinic at Mission Farms is seeking an LPN to join their team! This position will be a blend of direct patient interaction and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be computer savvy, and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.

This is a full-time Monday through Friday day shift.

Hours:

4 Days 7:30am - 5pm

1 Half Day (based on Provider schedule) 7:30am - 12pm

No holidays or weekends

The Work: 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care Schedules emergent need patient appointments Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provides advice and recommendations, and inserts intravenous access with medication administration. Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice Enters admission orders as directed by provider Manages expired samples. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties or other office duties as needed Clinic has 11 providers.

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Licensed Practical Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Licensed Practical Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
