Hiring Bonus $250
Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale, Devereux Arizona’s 24-hour Residential Treatment Center (RTC) has the capacity to serve 52 children. The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 7 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.
As a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Devereux, you will demonstrate an understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and apply them to working with a child/adolescent population. As an LPN, you will demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and ability to understand and implement regulatory guidelines and professional standards within our Nursing department. This position contributes to the assessment of individual’s conditions, identifies problems, provides appropriate treatment of medical conditions, communicates medical information to registered nurses, physicians, and treatment team members, and maintains related documentation. LPNs also administer medications according to the standards and criteria established by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.30 / hr
Shift Differential: $2/hr between 3:00pm-11:00pm and $4/hr between 11:00pm-7:00am, 7 days a week
Part Time Schedule: Sunday and Monday 4:00pm - 9:00pm (with other shifts as needed/desired)

Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursingCurrent valid license to practice as an LPN in Arizona with no restrictions requiredOne (1) year of nursing experience in a behavioral health care setting or experience working in another position with psychiatric population in a group home or residential facility preferredExcellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills
