**UPMC is hiring for an LPN in our Foot and Ankle office in Wellsboro. This is a full-time position on day shift. Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:45am-4:15pm, 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm. Candidates may be expected to float between multiple offices. This position is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus listed below:** **Sign-On Bonus Details:** · **$7,500 sign-on bonus available for nurses with over one year of experience** · **$5,000 sign-on bonus available for Graduate Nurses and nurses with less than one year of experience** **Responsibilities:** + Draw blood. + Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health). + Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip. + Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments. + Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight. + Comply with all policies and procedures. + Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse. + Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record. + Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data. + Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions. Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
