Responsibilities As a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) at Henkels & McCoy, you will play a pivotal role in our surveying projects, ensuring precision, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards. You will lead survey teams, manage projects, and collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality survey data and reports on projects across PA/NJ. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects across the power delivery/ utility industry. Responsibilities: Conduct boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and construction staking. Perform research and analysis of survey data, legal descriptions, and land records. Manage survey crews and oversee field operations to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety protocols. Prepare survey maps, plats, and reports using AutoCAD and GIS software. Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Maintain professional licensure and stay current with industry trends and best practices. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in PA/NJ. Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying, structural locations, & elevations with a proven track record of work in the heavy civil/ utility industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and other surveying tools. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
