We are looking to fill a full-time position

Job Responsibilities:

Proficient at animal husbandry. Proficient at animal restraint. Obtain and record patient histories, vital signs, and weight. Perform in-hospital diagnostic testing. Dispense and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians. IV catheter placement and maintenance. Administer, prepare, and monitor patients here for surgical procedures. Maintain an efficient flow of daily operations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintain superb cleanliness throughout the facility.

Skills Required:

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm in times of various pressures Ability to foster a positive work environment

Education:

Licensed and in good standing with the Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine 1+ years of experience working as an LVT preferred
