Summary
Under a Registered Nurse’s supervision, the LVN provides nursing care for a group of patients, based on matching the patients’ needs with the LVN’s competencies. The LVN completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
Experience
LVN in an acute care setting
Certifications/Licensure
Possession of current Texas State License for Licensed Vocational NurseBLS - At hire or obtain w/in 5 working days before assuming patient care (2 yr renewal)ACLS -At hire or obtain within 60 days of hire/transfer (2 yr renewal)#LI-NR1
