Licensing Specialist
Job Title: Licensing Specialist Job Description Analyze the laws of states and local Governments and apply the requirements for obtaining critical sales and operational licenses in the assigned region. Interact with Franchisees and Corporate Operations personnel to obtain information to complete applications and provide status of licensing activities. Interact with State and Local licensing officials in assigned regions to obtain relevant licensing information. Maintain and oversee maintenance of assigned regions' part of a comprehensive licensing database. Provide advice and counsel on the application of various licensing requirements to current and proposed operations. Responsibilities + Analyze state and local laws to determine licensing requirements. + Obtain critical sales and operational licenses in the assigned region. + Interact with Franchisees and Corporate Operations personnel to gather necessary information for applications. + Provide updates on licensing activities. + Communicate with State and Local licensing officials to obtain relevant information. + Maintain and oversee a comprehensive licensing database for the assigned region. + Advise on the application of licensing requirements to current and proposed operations. Essential Skills + Bank reconciliation + Credit card transaction management + Expense allocation + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Accounting + Auditing + Compliance Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate's degree + Experience in mortgage or licensing + Strong reading and analytical skills + Strong communication skills + Extensive experience with database software programs + Proven detail orientation and curiosity Work Environment The team consists of 40 people divided into three regions with a manager over each region. Team sizes vary based on the number of stores, with most teams comprising about 12 people. The work environment offers growth opportunities in accounting, a convenience store on location, and the chance to cross-train on multiple sides of the business.
