Position summary: The Arrow University Licensing Specialist is responsible for assisting with maintaining records, compiling license information, and submitting all necessary forms in order to maintain licensing compliance for Service Centers and individuals, as well as ensuring the timely submission of materials to state agencies in order to maintain or request CEU approvals and license holders. The Licensing Specialist will work closely with all Team Members within the company to provide licensing support. The position of Licensing and Training Specialist will report directly to the Director of Licensing. \n
\n

Essential Functions\n\nSubmitting sign in sheets to various state agencies per their requirements.\nSubmitting CEU course approval applications to various state agencies per their requirements.\nAssist with renewing Service Center licenses.\nSubmitting license transfers, terminations, address changes, ordering replacement licenses to various state agencies per their requirements.\nAttend virtual or in-person state regulatory meetings to ensure the Licensing Team is apprised of state-specific industry updates.\nResearching Team Member CEU's and developing training plans.\nAssist with scheduling and coordinating advanced level licensing courses.\nMaintain study material and oversee the process of sending and receiving loaned material.\nGather and submit licensing information for newly acquired offices. \nRequest and update each state agency with Certificates of Insurance when our policy renews. \nDevelop licensing training for virtual classrooms and E-Learning using PowerPoint and additional software as needed.\nCommunicate professionally via telephone and email to all Team Members and various state agencies regarding licensing-related topics.\nCoordinate external CEU training for specific states.\nResearch rules and regulations and licensing requirements as needed. \nComplete all of the above tasks with minimal error.\nOther duties as required\n\n

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\nIndividual must have extreme attention to detail and organization.\nAbility to read, interpret, and understand various rules and regulations.\nAbility to take initiative when a needed task or process is identified. \nPosition requires excellent computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.\nPosition requires excellent project management skills, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.\nIndividual must be able to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal) with all levels of management and positions.\nAbility to multi-task.\nAbility to work independently and maintain accountability to those served by the position.\nCandidate should be innovative, creative and have good decision making and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage, lead and provide direction to others.\n\n\nPosition requires building trusting relationships with all levels of the organization and the ability to communicate with and influence individuals throughout the Company.\nAbility to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer as directed.\nBe familiar with Arrow Exterminators, Inc. organization and company policies and procedures.\nReading, legible & accurate writing.\nAble to accept and apply constructive feedback and criticism.\n\n

Minimum Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma (required)\nAt least two years or more in the Pest Control Industry\nHas their state employee level licensing (if applicable)\nMust be willing to travel, as needed\nPresent a professional appearance\nAble to work a 40 hour work week\n\n

Employee will be expected to be able to travel to attend company meetings as necessary, continuing education opportunities or travel to conduct training meetings. \n
