Position Overview
The Point-of-Care (POC) business develops and sustains systems for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) instruments for point of care and laboratory medical testing. This position is part of the Critical Care clinical setting within the POC business line and reports to the Head of R&D, Critical Care. The Life Cycle Management R&D Lead (Bench Top Blood Gas) is responsible for leading the cross-functional efforts related to sustaining engineering and life cycle management activities of the bench top blood gas product line and is based out of the POC headquarters in Walpole, MA.
Key Responsibilities
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
BS/MS in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 10+ years’ work experience in a combination of technical product development, sustaining engineering, or manufacturing rolesStrong Project Management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsOperate flexibly in an environment with competing priorities Exhibit a bias toward action, balanced by strong analytical decision-making skillsAble to lead and influence development or problem-solving teams Strong sense of ownership and accountabilityIntegrity, professionalism, and overall commitment to excellencePreferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
