**JOB SUMMARY**
Provides technical and non-technical life safety and health related support to management, employees, contractors, and visitors. The Specialist develops and maintains corporate life safety programs and objectives and coordinates life safety-related training programs. The Specialist monitors life safety-related laws, rules, and regulations, and provides management with information on the Organization's business-related federal, state, and local life safety laws, rules, and regulations.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Oversee the administration of the Life Safety Program, including distribution of manuals, training of occupants, conducting drills, inventory and replacement of equipment, etc.
+ Recruit and traing Life Safety Team members at all locations.
+ The development, implementation and maintenance of the Life Safety Program, including policies and procedures, all hazard plans and emergency activation plans.
+ Conduct and train employees on AED/CPR certifications.
+ Maintain appropriate records and files relating to all programs of Life Safety Teams and Members.
+ Maintain the Life Safety Microsite.
+ Other duties as assigned or requested.
**EXPERIENCE**
**Required**
+ 5 to 7 years of experience in Emergency Management
+ 3 years of experience in Project Management
+ 3 years of experience in Record Keeping/Documentation
**SKILLS**
+ Superior verbal and written communication skills
+ Knowledge of emergency equipment and fire detection/suppression systems
+ Planning, Organizing, Scheduling, Presentation Skills
**EDUCATION**
**Required**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Emergency Management or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
**LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS**
**Required**
+ Current Drivers License
+ CPR – American Heart Association
**Preferred**
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Certification - American Heart Association - American Heart Association
