Stanford University is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to perform basic functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct and analyze experiments. Position is available in the Department of Otolaryngology, Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology (onsite only). The position supports basic and translational research in inner ear immunology and virology using human tissue culture, molecular biology techniques, animal models and confocal microscopy to understand the pathophysiology and ultimately treatment options for hearing loss due to congenital cytomegalovirus infection.
The candidate will have opportunities to contribute meaningfully to research projects and the potential for their contributions to be recognized on manuscripts disseminated from the lab.

Bachelor's degree in related scientific field.

The expected pay range for this position is $26.44 to $36.54 per hour.
