Essential Duties

Accountable for project/program results, developing and tracking work plans and project schedules through all phases from initiation to closure.Establish and maintain project review cadence, ensuring completion of actions and effective communication of progress to stakeholders.Direct project teams by assigning duties and responsibilities, managing scope changes, and resolving issues throughout the project life cycle.Collaborate with Project Sponsors and stakeholders to outline scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timing in project charters.Track and report project milestones and status updates, perform risk assessments, and develop response strategies.Complete post-project evaluations to assess success, develop lessons learned, and apply best practices for continuous improvement.Demonstrated ability to initiate change, manage multiple priorities, communicate cross-functionally, learn new tasks, and handle ambiguity.Willingness to take ownership of key project deliverables, ensuring successful completion even in the absence of resources.

Program/Project Administration

Schedules and facilitates meetings related to the projectUpdates and modifies, as needed project reporting dataArchives project documents after the completion of the projectQuantify and track project benefits

Analytical/Technology

Compiles data from various sources (e.g., businesses, internal functions, databases).Analyzes information for ROI and cost-benefit analysis, and tracks results.Collaborates with businesses to identify needs, requirements, and resources.Creates and maintains additional files, databases, and project data repositories to effectively prepare and present project data using multiple computer software applications.

Communication/Leadership

Develops and implements program/project communication plans and schedules for the project sponsor and key stakeholders.Collaborates with the Project Sponsor and stakeholders to finalize a project charter that details the scope, objectives, deliverables, necessary resources, budget, and timeline.Effectively communicates expectations to team members and stakeholders.Serves as an intermediary between stakeholders and team members.Negotiates with project stakeholders and/or the Project Sponsor to secure resources or materials.Leads, coaches, and positively motivates the project team members.Coaches project leaders in the Life Sciences organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree7+ years of professional experienceStrong analytical skills, self-driven, outcome-orientedAbility to communicate to varying levels of the organization verbally/written to ensure team and stakeholder engagement.Strong interpersonal skills: ability to influence/persuade at all levels of the organization and motivate team members.Willingness to travel globally as necessary – up to 30% in year 2If not black belt/PM certified must be willing to complete internal black belt training and begin certification process within 12 months or hire into role.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in managing initiatives that showcase improvements in an end-to-end supply chain environment.  Projects focused on cost reduction, continuous improvement, value stream optimization, or business process optimization.Successful project leadership on projects that span functional areas including commercial/sales executionPMP Certified and/or Black Belt CertifiedLife Sciences ExperienceExperience with manufacturing site startup and communications with commercial partners during the processSelf-driven, outcomes-oriented performerProven success initiating change and ability to influence at all levels of the organizationComplex project management across multiple functional areas.  Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; able to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situationsChange Management ExperienceWillingness and capability to own key project deliverables when there are project resource gaps

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
