About the Role SelectQuote is seeking a highly skilled marketing professional to help lead efforts in Consumer Lifecycle Marketing. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing the holistic Lifecycle Marketing strategy for a core insurance line of business - inclusive of acquisition, cross-sell, and cross-collaboration marketing. Consumer Lifecycle Marketing is an integral part of the consumer experience across the SelectQuote family of brands. Our CLM team has the charter of increasing ROI from existing uncontacted or unsold leads, and existing customers through direct-to-consumer channels including but not limited to Email, SMS, Direct Mail, and Outbound Calling strategies. Through a close partnership with Sales, Operations, and other key stakeholders in the Owned and Operated Marketing teams, this role will work to identify marketing opportunities throughout the sales process and product lifecycle, with a focus on lead generation, increasing conversion and delivering increased revenue growth. This role also leads proactive testing and optimization of existing programs to grow overall revenue contribution, and partners with our automation team to ensure the health of our primary communication channels is maintained at required thresholds. This role will lead existing customer segmentation strategy, A/B testing across key programs and channels, lead the development and approval of content & copy for key programs, and will work closely with internal compliance teams to ensure regulations are adhered to in our marketing strategies. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and data analytics, to develop targeted marketing programs and initiatives that align with business objectives and drive customer growth. Strategize, then Utilize data-driven insights and segmentation strategies to identify and understand customer behavior, preferences, and needs, and develop personalized and relevant integrated marketing strategies focused on driving response and purchase behavior Oversee the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, direct mail, SMS, and other relevant channels, ensuring performance and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement. Collaborate with creative teams and external agencies to develop compelling and engaging marketing communications and assets that resonate with the target audience, while remaining compliant to the relevant governing bodies. Work closely with our Marketing Automation team to effectively leverage marketing automation to drive scale and efficiency; streamlining testing and program optimizations and delivering enhanced value Evaluate the ROI of Operational compliance adjustments and tactics, providing insights to inform budget allocation and strategic planning Self Sufficient Strategist & Operationalist - Able to make strategic recommendations based on current data, and build compelling stories around current and future funnels Performance manage marketing channels against budgeted costs, Year-over-Year revenue generation, and orchestrated goals Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in compliance and quality assurance to ensure our strategies remain competitive and data-driven, with a specific focus on CMS guidelines; being the resident expert and liaison between our compliance team and relevant internal and external content teams Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication skills High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects, multiple channels and segments simultaneously in a cross-functional team Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field Strong, compelling marketing and storytelling skills specific to the following channels: Email, SMS, Outbound Call scripting, and other digital marketing channels Prior experience leading and optimizing inbound and outbound call campaigns, with a strong understanding of effective strategies and best practices Prior experience being accountable for a P&L or managing recurring performance-focused executive communications on weekly results A proven ability to manage and maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships across multiple interdisciplinary teams, leading toward a shared goal Proficiency in customer segmentation and proven experience delivering Segmentation models and leveraging them to inform marketing strategies and campaigns Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required Ability to work 3 Days in office per week in Overland Park office required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant Project Management Major required Proficiency with Marketing Automation tools preferred 5+ years of experience in a marketing or project management role required, a focus in performance management is preferred Preferred but not required: 3+ years Experience marketing in the Medicare or Medicare Advantage space, where compliance and a firm understanding of laws and regulations was required Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
