WAGE: $17 / hour

Oversee swimming areas, enforce safety rules, and respond swiftly to emergencies, ensuring our guests enjoy a safe and fun aquatic experience.

Responsibilities:Supervise swimming areas and enforce safety rules.Respond to emergencies and provide first aid.Conduct regular safety checks and inspections.Maintain cleanliness of pool areas and equipment.Participate in training and certification programs.
Qualifications:Current lifeguard certification (training provided)CPR and First Aid certification (training provided)Ability to pass a Lifeguard course taught in EnglishPhysical stamina and strong swimming skillsCapability to tread water for at least 2 minutesAbility to swim up to 200 yardsSkill in retrieving a 10-pound brick from various pool depths20/20 vision or corrective vision to 20/20Willingness to get wet and stay wet throughout the day, regardless of weatherAbility to sit, stand, or rove for hours without a breakPreparedness to be test/rescue ready at all times during shiftSuccessful completion of all internal VAT (Vigilance Awareness Test) auditsWillingness to be Vigilance Awareness Tested (VAT) dailyReadiness to clean/dispose of bio-hazard materialsCompliance with wearing approved footwearExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to safety and detailAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
