Job Summary:

Instruct aquatic exercise and therapy programs. Monitor client progress and make program changes to facilitate clients' maximum independence and achieve fitness goals.

This position would take place in our warm water therapy pool

LifeguardingCommunity Swimming lessonsSome Evening and Saturday morning hoursMust work at least 20 hour per year.

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

Conduct group and 1:1 aquatic exercise and therapy programs.Conduct programs in compliance with governing disciplines.Conduct 1:1 instruction and hands-on assistance to clients.Monitor clients' progress and make program changes to facilitate clients' maximum independence and achieve fitness goals.Respond to emergency situations.Complete documentation, maintain class rosters and client records.Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Must be 16 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred0 to 2 years in teaching aquatics skills preferredBLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required from American Heart Association or Allina Health within 60 Days andLifeguard Certification from American Red Cross required within 2 weeks of hire
