Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Become familiar with lifestyle benefits, medical benefits, employee relief fund, leaves and disability and their business goals, objectives and needsSupport the lifestyle benefits and wellness plans and vendorsSupport Total Rewards team events:Assist with set-up and breakdownCoordinate volunteers and provide onsite assistanceCoordinate materials and facilitate communications with vendor partnersSupport communications and promotional effortsEvents may include the Cox 5K, Open Enrollment Fairs, Field Expos, Biometric Screenings, Vaccine Clinics, Wellness Wednesdays and moreOrganize and perform audit of our employee discount programsManipulate and interpret data using Excel; use data to support recommendations and reporting for our plans and programsDevelop, review and/or update marketing materials, presentations and employee communicationsOpportunity to develop and deliver benefit presentations to employeesAssist and support fellow team members by partnering on various reporting, analysis, projects, and campaignsMay perform additional projects upon request

Requirements:

Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (ex. Health Sciences & Wellness, Public Health, Public Relations, Sports or Business Administration/Management, or a related field)Strong verbal and written communication skills including delivering presentationsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsSolid critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamProficiency in Microsoft OfficeEvent planning or project management experience and a passion for health and wellness is a plusAvailable to work full time Monday-Friday.

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
