Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Fleet Services By Cox Automotive is currently hiring Lift Gate Installation Trailer Mechanic position for our Indianapolis shop on a 1st Shift.If you are looking for a new place to call home, we would love to talk to you!Duties and Responsibilities:Install lift gate systems on various types of commercial trailers and trucksRun wiring for solar panels, electronic equipment and other trailer systemsInstall and troubleshooting hydraulic plumbing and associated componentsPerform work in an efficient and quality manner without compromising your safety or that of those around you.Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, as well as power tools, welding equipment, and jacks.Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most standard repair times.Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations, to include OSHA, EPA, and DOT.Participate and complete all-in company required safety training.To be considered for a Trailer Technician position you should have the following:Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Trailer Technician or related position.Training in repair of hydraulic lift gates preferredKnowledge of trailer air systems and wiring.Welding experience preferredValid Driver’s License required. CDL-A preferred but not required.High School Diploma or and equivalent combination of education is a plus but not required.Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions.Positive attitude, Safety conscious, good instincts, and self-motivationExcellent organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of tasks.A detail oriented and the ability to meet deadlines.A commitment to safety and strong customer service skills.Why Fleet Services By Cox Automotive?
