Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

We are supported by a 24/7 in-house call-center and provide scheduled maintenance services and unscheduled services to fleets anywhere, anytime.  Fleet Services By Cox Automotive is currently hiring Lift Gate Installation Trailer Mechanic position for our Indianapolis shop on a 1st Shift.If you are looking for a new place to call home, we would love to talk to you!
Duties and Responsibilities:Install lift gate systems on various types of commercial trailers and trucksRun wiring for solar panels, electronic equipment and other trailer systemsInstall and troubleshooting hydraulic plumbing and associated componentsPerform work in an efficient and quality manner without compromising your safety or that of those around you.Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, as well as power tools, welding equipment, and jacks.Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most standard repair times.Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations, to include OSHA, EPA, and DOT.Participate and complete all-in company required safety training.To be considered for a Trailer Technician position you should have the following:Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Trailer Technician or related position.Training in repair of hydraulic lift gates preferredKnowledge of trailer air systems and wiring.Welding experience preferredValid Driver’s License required.
