Eldora strives to deliver Colorado’s Front Range the most memorable outdoor adventures to locals and out-of-town visitors. Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park experience, and a world class Nordic Center.
Job Summary/Overview:
A Lift Operations Foremen is responsible for managing multiple Lift Operators and lifts to ensure safe, efficient uphill travel. They are also responsible for maintaining the lift areas for snow removal and safe, organized, and professional work environments.
Daily Schedule:
•Shift begins at 6:45am on weekends and 7:15am on weekdays (Start times are subject to change and be as early as 6:00am for events, holidays and snow removal)
•Shift Ends at 4:45pm (End times are subject to change with events and evacuation trainings)
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates teamwork and support for managementMonitors lifts and personnel for Tramway compliance- this would include all signage and licensing, normal and evacuation procedures, opening, operating, and closing proceduresAssists with maintaining lift manuals and log books and all related documentsParticipates in all phases of the lift operator's job- helps open, operate and close lifts as neededVery thorough and accurate on all paperwork and office duties as assignedUsing a radio to communicate in an effective, professional mannerMust be flexible with schedule to accommodate opening and closing needs and special eventsAssists in maintaining performance of lift personnel in the areas of lift operation and guest relationsOther Duties as Assigned:

Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $22+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts.
