Job Description
Lighting Services is seeking a support specialist with experience in Power Distribution to help support ongoing work related to shared services and lighting offerings to customers within their service region. This person will primarily work within the company's proprietary estimating system, JETS, to estimate and price out jobs by gathering technical information and specifications on lighting projects. Most of the support work will be focused on municipalities and commercial/industrial related customers.
ResponsibilitiesEstimate and price out jobs using the company's proprietary estimating system, JETS.Gather technical information and specifications on lighting projects.Support verification of work to be conducted for customer requirements.Design required updates or alignment occurrences to support customer lighting agreements.Essential SkillsExperience in Power Distribution.Ability to gather technical information and specifications.Proficiency in using estimating systems like JETS.Knowledge of utility, GIS, drafting, and secondary distribution.Familiarity with NEC and NESC specifications.Ability to read and create electrical drawings using Electrical and Instrumentation CAD design tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in engineering, technical training, or related degree.Experience in a distribution setting supporting utility or services at a tier-one level of operation.Work Environment
This position will start remote, working in the field as projects occur through the sales group. As the customer shifts back to the office through the reentry plan, the person is subject to work from the corporate office and surrounding area. The role involves non-hazardous work, with no PPE needed, no medical monitoring, and no licenses or certifications required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
