**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician** **Job Description** Immediate Direct Hire opening for a Limited Maintenance Electrician or Plant Journeyman Electrician in Beaverton, Oregon! This is a great long-term opportunity with benefits at a growing company. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels. + Perform emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations. + Accurately use measurement and test equipment. + Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed. + Install wire and conduit for new and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting and corrugating machinery. + Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photoelectric devices. + Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards. + Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + Troubleshoot drives, i.e., AC and DC. + Read electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic. + Maintain clean and organized work areas, and clean up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks. + Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork. **Essential Skills** + LME/PJ/General Journeyman Electrician License - required. + Strong electrical aptitude. + Mechanical knowledge and experience. + Ability to pass an advanced industrial skills and instrumentation/electrician knowledge test prior to the interview process. + Troubleshoot and solve problems. + Self-motivated, able to follow through to completion with assigned responsibilities. + Maintain teamwork with other associates. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, welding, mechanical, blueprint reading, schematics, safety, electrical, machine maintenance, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, manufacturing industry, machine repair, mechanical troubleshooting, installation, industrial maintenance, motors, and generators. **Why Work Here?** Direct Hire Opportunity with great benefits, including paid time off (Vacation and Holidays), retirement, pension, and 401k Matching Program.
