Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated LIMS Process Expert to join eLIMS-NG Business Integration and Rollout (BnR) Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting our eLIMS-NG processes while providing exceptional training, communication, and support to end users and business stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring that the system is utilized efficiently, meets the needs of the organization, and aligns with business objectives. The ability to quickly learn about specific process areas and work autonomously is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with business units to understand their needs and provide insights on how the eLIMS-NG can support their objectives.Rapidly gain understanding of specific process areas to effectively support and optimize eLIMS-NG.Collaborate with project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, coordinating efforts across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Collaborate with lab, IT teams, and other stakeholders to optimize their processes and workflows.Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to identify gaps in the system as compared to the business processes. Develop and implement actionable plans to address identified gaps, ensuring that the eLIMS-NG meets the evolving needs of the business.Identify opportunities for process improvement and adapt eLIMS-NG solutions to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.Create user friendly training materials, manuals, and job aids to support end users in navigating eLIMS-NG.Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to ensure users are proficient in utilizing the system.Assess training effectiveness and provide ongoing support to address any gaps in knowledge or skills.Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, troubleshooting, and technical support.Provide timely responses to user queries and support requests, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.Facilitate clear and effective communication between technical teams, laboratory staff, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure alignment on processes.Exhibit a high level of autonomy in managing tasks, making decisions, and driving initiatives with minimal supervision.Proactively identify areas for improvement and take ownership of projects from conception through to implementation.Maintain accurate records of system changes, training sessions, and support activities.QualificationsMaster degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or related field.5+ years experience in IT or related fieldsCommunication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Proficient in conducting demos, presentations, and workshops to effectively communicate the value and functionality of the system. Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Training and Development: Strong capability in creating and delivering comprehensive training programs tailored to different learning styles and levels of expertise. Skilled in developing user friendly training materials, conducting engaging training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure users are confident and proficient in utilizing the system.Interpersonal and Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively within cross functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment on shared goals. Strong relationship building skills to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Adept at diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. Ability to analyse data and processes to provide actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.High Degree of Autonomy: Demonstrates a high level of autonomy with the ability to independently manage multiple tasks, make informed decisions, and take ownership of projects from inception to completion. Exhibits strong initiative and a proactive approach to driving projects forward with minimal supervision.Adaptability and Flexibility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changing priorities.
