Preparation of food items for service in a high volume restaurantEssential Functions:
Organize and prioritize preparation of food itemsPrepare food according to standardized recipesEnsure proper size and weight of food portionsCoordinate food preparation with other kitchen staffMaintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shiftFollow standard recipes regarding presentation of food itemsPrepare plate presentation pursuant to standard recipesClean and maintain kitchen equipment and walk-in coolerEnsure that kitchen area, including grill, oven, stoves, etc. remain clean and free of hazards during shiftKeep floor clean and free of food items, trash, or other obstaclesMaintain House of Blues safety and sanitation standardsPrepare kitchen equipment and set up station for shiftEnsure proper rotation of all food items, including the lifting/moving of food bins weighing up to 180 lbs.Perform all opening and closing dutiesSanitation and Safety complianceAttitude and teamworkAdherence to all House of Blues policiesAssist other Kitchen as neededOpening and Closing dutiesJob Skills/Knowledge/ProductivityAppearancePunctuality/AttendanceJob Qualifications:
