Schedule: 2p-10:30p availability required, including weekends and holidays.

Starting Pay Rate: $23/hr.

A Dinner Cook is responsible for preparing food items in our Valley Plaza Restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability while maintaining correct food handling and high sanitation standards.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items following recipes and established standards in the hotel's ensuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nPrepares all food items according to recipe cards and correct handling procedures. Maintains the highest quality. \nMaintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.\nManage guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.\nEnsure knowledge of menu and food products\nStock and maintain designated food stations(s)\nVisually inspect all food sent from the kitchen.\nPractice correct food handling and storage procedures according to federal, state, local, and company regulations.\nProvide support to the front of the house by responding to guests' questions and/or concerns about menu items. \n

What are we looking for?

\n\n1-2 years of cook experience preferred, preferably in a high-volume restaurant in a hotel environment.\nHave a positive \"can-do\" attitude and be part of a team. \nWill need to work independently at times and be able to remain calm during busy shifts. \nMust be able to work evening shifts from 2 PM on up and on weekends, \nGood communication skills and must be able to read/write in English.  \n\n
