THE JOB:
As a Cook, you will showcase your culinary skills with precision and expertise. Your warm smile and attentive service will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. By understanding each guest's unique preferences and needs, you will take ownership of their experience, creating unforgettable WOW moments that extend beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE:$19.50
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Possess a strong understanding of food products and effectively apply culinary techniques.
Safely operate and identify various kitchen equipment.
Ensure kitchen supplies and food items are restocked as needed for service.
Properly label and date all products to maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
Demonstrate thorough menu knowledge and attention to detail in plate presentation.
Support kitchen leadership and team members in executing seamless service.
Maintain expertise in preparing base sauces, stocks, and soups.
Work collaboratively as a team and assist with guest needs and inquiries.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Proficient in weights, measurements, and a variety of cooking techniques.
Skilled in knife handling and familiar with standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machines, and smallwares.
Well-versed in health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
Is at least 18 years old
Has 2+ years' experience in a similar setting (preferred)
Has 1+ years' experience working as a cook (preferred)
