We are hiring a 1st shift line leader to join our team! This position provides manufacturing support in a team environment.

 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Operates machines as necessaryAssists with start up procedures in a timely mannerMaintains quality product within the designated cellPerforms visual inspections, reviews documentation, and audits production processesInsures proper identification of product within the cellTrains machine operators on proper loading/unloading of product, proper gauging and interpretation of readings, tool changing, and any other functions of the machine as necessaryMaintains a safe, clean work areaMaintains a 5S (Visual Factory) work cellMaintains adequate material within the cellReports final production quantities and machine downtimeCommunicates to the supervisor on the status of the cellStrives for continuous improvement of the work cellRelieves operators for breaks and lunches Requirements

Education and Experience:  

High school diploma or equivalent required1 - 2 years of experience in an industrial environment preferredAbility to become certified to drive a fork truckEmployees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessary
