Job Title: Line Maintenance Technician - Starting at $24/hr!

Job Description

As a Line Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting machinery and equipment on the floor. This role involves basic maintenance tasks, small repairs, and adjustments to machinery. You will work closely with various departments, ensuring machinery runs smoothly and efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesPerform basic maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues before calling in the maintenance team.Complete small repairs and adjustments on machinery.Test equipment and check sensors.Perform mechanical repairs and tooling fixtures.Conduct daily changeovers on machinery and ensure proper functioning post-changeover.Perform quality checks for initial parts after changeover.Adapt to various tasks as needed, including assembling racking and repairing dies.Change low voltage sensors and adjust sensor locations.Communicate effectively with multiple departments including maintenance, production, engineering, and quality.Use hand tools for wrenching and read blueprints as required.Document and write daily reports using a computer.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of mechanical aptitude (e.g., maintenance, mechanic, process tech, machine setup, machining, mold tech, millwright, welder, auto mechanic, farmer/farm hand).Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Ability to read blueprints.Possession of steel-toed shoes.Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.Basic computer skills for daily reporting.Additional Skills & QualificationsVocational school education.Experience with hydraulics.Experience working with mold machines.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is loud, with the smell of rubber and older machinery, typical of a manufacturing setting. It is well lit and involves working with automotive parts such as fuel hoses, air conditioning hoses, turbo air hoses, water/vacuum hoses, mounts, transmission parts, suspension parts, and chassis parts. Shifts are available on 2nd (2:50pm-11:10pm) and 3rd (10:50pm-7:10am), with training on days. Saturday work is required every 6 weeks, with the option to work 1st shift on Saturdays or pick up additional shifts voluntarily.
