Job Title: Line operator\n \n Job Description Summary\n The Line Operator will be responsible for ensuring SQF Safe Quality Food food safety and quality by ensuring the process is meeting all standards from Filler thru Palletizer. The Line Operator is responsible for keeping the area in a clean and sanitary condition assisting other employees with all changeovers and perform minor maintenance on equipment as needed. The Operator will keep work area clean and safe keep line running at peak efficiency assist and understand weight control. The Line Operator will assist as needed monitor cases and carton codes and conduct all other checks required by Quality to maintain the highest efficiency while adhering to quality standards and reports to Supervisor.\n \n Job Description\n \n OVERALL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n \n Individual must be capable of performing all of the following job duties as requiredS73\n - Must be able to communicate well with others and understand team concept\n - Must understand and follow all GMPs for producing quality product\n - Must be able to follow and understand production schedule\n - Must follow all OSHA and Plant safety rules\n - Assist operators with minor change-over aspects\n - Will perform duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader\n - Must be able to work in climate controlled area 40 degrees\n - Must be able to work at elevated levels working platform\n - Able to lift push pull up to 50 pounds\n - Must be able to be trained to use a powered pallet jack\n - Must be able to be trained to key enter information into data systems\n - Other duties as assigned\n \n SKILLS EXPERIENCE:\n - Any previous manufacturing experience will be preferred\n - Ability to complete basic match computation\n - Understanding of weights and measurements\n \n EDUCATION:\n - High School Diploma or GED - required

The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $20.30
