Summary: Seeking a Line Operator to operate the thermoplastic extruder line, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Must understand entire line operation
Conceptual understanding of extrusion process
Knowledge of assembly, disassembly, and cleaning of extruder heads
Selection and installation of extruder screws and tooling
Familiarity with compound conveyor system, dryers, power switches, temperature, air, water controls
Operation of payoff and take-up equipment
Understanding of internal/industry codes for compounds and conductors
ISO requirements knowledge
Responsibilities:
Comply with safety rules and maintain a clean work area
Mechanically set up the line with appropriate tooling components
Monitor raw material supply for continuous operation
Maintain welder operations for conductor welding
Operate pay-off and take-up equipment efficiently
Perform preventive maintenance on line components
Ensure product quality through measurement and corrective actions
Generate product tags and maintain accurate records
Prepare cables for electrical testing as needed
Participate in team meetings and improvement projects
Maintain ISO certification adherence
Act as Emergency Action Warden when required
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
