Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Perform automated system level testing on network switching equipment to determine product functionality. This role involves mechanical and electrical assembly, product packaging, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will work towards meeting daily goals and contribute to the team's success by sharing ideas and rotating through different workstations.

ResponsibilitiesPerform automated system level testing (Pre-Test, Burn-In, and Final Test) on network switching equipment to determine product functionality.Monitor failures during tests and report them to the Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician.Report any test software or equipment issues or improvements to the Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician.Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) into product cases.Inspect PCBA and metal work as per inspection procedures.Conduct final assembly and packaging of products.Use fixtures and power/hand tools according to product specifications.Follow detailed process instructions and work towards meeting daily goals.Prepare and kit picklists for the lines while assisting peers with water spider and de-trashing activities.Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment by complying with procedures.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Rotate through different work stations or areas as needed to reduce fatigue.Freely share ideas to contribute to team daily success and overall growth.Skills & QualificationsExperience in production and general labor.Experience with general production and test equipment.Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly.Experience in electronics testing and packaging.Ability to work on assembly lines, including packing and labeling.Experience with PCB assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsTest technician experience.PCB experience.Work Environment

Work hours are from 7am to 4pm. The work environment is professional, clean, and safe, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. You will use various fixtures and power/hand tools according to product specifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
