JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX News Media is looking for an experienced Line Producer to help launch a multi-vertical news program. As a Line Producer, you'll assist with our content creation process, be responsible for pitching compelling story ideas, securing top-tier guests, and collaborating with producers.

You should have excellent editorial judgment, managerial skills, and breaking news experience. An understanding of national politics and interest in general news is required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

A Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experienceBilingual (Spanish and English) required4+ years of professional experience in a live control room line producing a showDecisive and skilled management of a control roomSolid understanding of international news coverage preferredStrong technical and decision-making skillsBroad knowledge of current events, politics, and pop cultureStrong writing and copy-editing skillsAbility to work under intense deadline pressure in a newsroomAbility to work and stack an everyday rundown and switch gears/roll with breaking news

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $84,500.00-110,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
