Line Service Manager
**Job Title: Line Service Manager** **Job Description** The Line Service Manager leads and oversees the entire team of Line Service Technicians for a specific location. The manager leads by example while coordinating scheduled and unscheduled events, delegating tasks, multitasking, and resolving problems. The Line Service Manager ensures the team is highly productive, delivers consistent customer service with the highest level of safety, and ensures facilities and equipment perform optimally at all times. This role requires excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills to motivate the team to reach set targets. **Responsibilities** + Motivates the team of Line Service Technicians to reach their full potential and achieve set goals. + Oversees and assists the Line Service Trainer in the training process to uphold standards. + Oversees all Fuel QC and the ordering of Jet / 100LL fuels. + Mentors Shift Leads to manage daily operations during all shifts. + Ensures all Line Service Technicians adhere to company policy and SOPs as defined by the SMS and Operations Manual. + Oversees the development and training of all Line Service personnel in organizational SOPs. + Manages fiscal discipline to adhere to budgets for department expenses and labor costs. + Carries out all duties of a Line Service Technician and assists the team when needed. + Coordinates schedules for Line Service Technicians to meet operational needs. + Provides excellent customer service to members and transient aircraft crew and clients. + Addresses any safety-related issues involved with all ramp procedures. + Promotes and maintains a positive image of the company at all times to all personnel, members, volunteers, vendors, and the community. + Ensures a safe operation, protecting customers, staff, and equipment from harm. + Oversees IS-BAH/Safety Program and Committee to ensure SMS effectiveness and improve overall safety. + Completes weekly reports as required and on time. + Coordinates and completes special projects as they arise. + Ensures all required duties and checklists of a shift are complied with. + Resolves problems or issues using judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, and procedures, and makes recommendations to further improve the operation. + Notifies the General Manager of any equipment malfunctions and/or damage, as well as any accidents or incidents, and ensures that an incident report is completed with recommendations and actions taken to prevent future incidents or accidents. **Essential Skills** + FBO experience + 3+ years of experience working as a lead or supervisor + Strong organizational skills (payroll, scheduling, customer service, training) + Experience with fuel systems and maintenance repair **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Always challenging the status quo to build the best customer service product + Strong mentoring and leadership skills + Excellent problem-solving abilities + Effective communication and coordination skills **Why Work Here?** This is a permanent position that offers up to a 10% bonus based on company profitability.
