The Line Service Professional plays a vital role to our daily operations and will provide an elite level of customer service to crew and passengers on the ground by fueling and positioning aircraft, assisting with luggage and effectively communicating on the radio with customer service representatives. \n

Responsibilities and Duties of the Line Service Professional\n\nGreet passengers and crewmembers upon arrival\nCoordinate with coworkers, clients and vendors to provide ground services for general aviation aircraft, such as fueling, lavatory, ground power and potable water services, delivering catering.\nMarshalling, towing and positioning aircraft on the ramp and in hangars.\nFuel movement- quality control, disposal, and paperwork\nDaily check and upkeep of crew cars and vehicles\nMaintain safe, clean and secure ramps and operations\nDrive a shuttle vehicle with passengers\nMonthly crew meetings\nAnnual re-current training\n\n

This position reports to the Line Service Manager\n

Work Environment\n

This position works outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.\n

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:\n\nMust be able to lift 75 pounds\nPossible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery\nOutside work in all types of weather conditions\nPosition may require bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and climbing a ladder\n\n

This position includes shift work which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.\n

Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications\n\nCustomer service experience in the service industry preferred\nPrior aircraft ground handling experience a plus\nHigh School Diploma\nEntry level position\nAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays\nAcceptable driving record\nAbility to pass a background check\nZero tolerance drug free employer includes pre-employment and random screening\n\n
