What Success Looks Like In This Job
Under the direction and guidance of the FBO Manager and Line Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for a safe, compliant, and efficient FBO operation of aircraft fueling, ground handling, facilities, and customer service.
Examples of Duties for Success
+ Complete Airport FBO training programs and updates as they become available.
+ Maintain daily record keeping as assigned.
+ Assist in the preventive maintenance daily checks, cleanliness, and proper storage of all aircraft and FBO ground support equipment.
+ Maintain cleanliness and light duty maintenance of all aircraft parking, tie-down areas, and airport owned hangars.
+ Perform light cleaning and maintenance of private hangars that are managed by the Front Range Airport.
+ Perform janitorial and light duty maintenance of the Airport Terminal and all associated facilities utilized by the FBO operations if priorities allow.
+ Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections of all fuel equipment and bulk storage systems in accordance with fuel provider, local, state, and federal guidelines.
+ Perform all aircraft fueling operations in accordance with FAA requirements and airline standards.
+ Assist in the operations and maintenance of all bulk fuel storage systems and associated products inventory.
+ Perform the daily maintenance and cleaning of mobile fueling equipment.
+ Perform daily fuel quality testing and record results.
+ Perform the cleaning of the Airport's rental car fleet and airport courtesy cars.
+ Assist with the daily functions of the customer service counter, if needed.
+ Assist in Airport snow removal operations if priorities allow.
+ Perform mowing, trimming, and overall upkeep of all landscaped areas around the Terminal, hangar buildings, and access roads.
+ Assist operations department with runway inspections if priorities allow.
+ Assist in all airport building painting and remodeling if priorities allow.
Qualifications for Success
+ Ability to Read and Write the English Language up to at least a High School or GED equivalent level.
+ Ability to Compute Basic Math at a High School or GED Equivalent Level.
+ Knowledge of general aircraft operations, procedures, and servicing techniques preferred.
+ Knowledge of aircraft fueling procedure and ground handling techniques preferred.
+ Knowledge of aircraft oxygen servicing techniques and equipment preferred.
+ Knowledge of petroleum bulk fuel storage equipment and systems preferred.
+ Knowledge of FBO operations preferred.
+ Knowledge of aviation and ground base radio systems preferred.
+ Skills in operating aircraft ground handling equipment preferred.
+ Skills in large trucks and heavy-duty equipment operation preferred.
+ Skills in two-way communications and techniques preferred.
+ Ability to maintain a high level of customer service, exceeding industry standards.
+ Ability to work unsupervised and independently.
+ Ability to operate all types of equipment associated with aircraft fueling operations, aircraft ground handling, and airport maintenance programs.
+ Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
+ Ability to establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
More Qualifications for Success
Education
+ Required – Ability to read\write the English Language and compute basic math up to a High School or GED Equivalent level.
+ Preferred - High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience
+ Preferred- FBO line service experience preferred.
License and/or certification
+ Required- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado Driver’s license.
Background Check:
+ Must pass a criminal background check.
Other:
+ Physical: Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70 lbs, expected during daily operation.
+ Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
+ Work flexible schedule to assist in covering of short-handed shifts.
+ Wear Airport supplied uniforms at all times.
+ Not required but availability for 24/7 on call status.
+ All weather conditions apply.
+ Extreme outside cold and hot temperatures to be expected.

Employees who work within the parameters below are eligible to participate in the the medical plan for the employee and child(ren) only as well as the 457b deferred compensation plan:
+ Duration - At least 3 months and up to 12 months
+ Weekly Hours - 30 or more
+ Break in Service Requirement - 13 weeks
