Line Station Assistant (LGW)

We are looking for a part-time (0.4 FTE with 16 hours per week) Line Station Assistant to join our Line Maintenance team at London Gatwick Airport.

 

Main Responsibilities

Oversee our London station operations as follows:

Carry out the main personnel-rated tasks according to HQ guidelines and local labor laws like personnel data management, onboarding (language assessments, including relocation and sponsorship) and offboarding Handle the LGW airport badge application process Ensure the station's compliance with local health and safety regulations (risk assessments, health, checks, first aid training, etc.) Coordinate any facility-related topics Create maintenance staff work schedules and vacations to obtain and control a balanced maintenance workload on a monthly and weekly basis Coordinate maintenance staff duty travels, tickets, and accommodation as per need Keep track of usage and order necessary maintenance documentation blanks and consumable materials such as printers' cartridges, printing paper, and similar office consumables Prepare any reports about maintenance activities as may be required Ensure accountability, correctness, and completeness of all legal forms and documents, including maintenance data, on aircraft maintenance events

 

Main Requirements
  

Previous experience in office administration or coordination Basic knowledge of HR labor law and health & safety regulations and practices (certifications are a plus) in the UK Organizational and multitasking skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office software Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion Must be UK citizen Manual driver's license (B category)  Clean criminal record
