Line Supervisor - Entry Level, $23+ Starting Pay!

**Description:**
• Will have 10-20 associates reporting to them including setups, production associates and contingent workforce
• They will report to a shift supervisor
• They will have 13-27+ machines tied to them
• This job is a front-line supervisor - they will be overseeing safety, quality, delivery, reporting (of production, scrap etc.)
• Must address any issues and take action on those issues - for example if there is a safety issue they must address it and do something about it in the moment
• They have a see something, do something or a take action philosophy with their leadership team
• They have different departments they could be placed into including paint, molding, stamping etc.
• Will need to understand how to prioritize work and what parts are ran in what order
• Will be on the floor 100% of the time
• Make adjustments and changes to machinery/production as needed
• Will be working with several different departments so communication skills are KEY - including maintenance, production, engineering, quality etc.
• Documenting and writing daily report using computer - will have to input data into excel for reporting
• Responsible for communication between shifts - attend shift hand off meetings
• May have to pull parts for the team/line - must be open to hands on work as needed - dumping scrap for team, moving parts, operating machines on occasion
• Oversee training of new employees and train employees as needed
• Ensure team is hitting productivity targets every hour and every shift
• Will be utilizing a production tracking software - computers at line showing the reports
• Will have to use outlook and Microsoft office
• Will be making improvements and using root cause analysis
• Enforce all PPE is being worn appropriately
• Must be willing to fill in as needed or if they are short staffed, may have to work on the line, may have to pull parts, communicating
• Responsible for any employee/associate issues
• ensure team is following FIFO process (first in first out)
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
**MUST HAVES:**
1. Must have at least 2 years of leadership experience - team lead, supervising, coaching, leading a team etc.
2. Must have experience with making adjustment, improving processes etc.
3. Must be willing to be HANDS ON - they are 100% at the line
4. Must have basic computer skills and experience entering data on a computer and utilizing email
5. Must have experience addressing issues in the moment and taking action in the moment with employees
**PLUSES:**
1. Molding/stamping experience
2. Automotive manufacturing experience

4. Do not mandate OT through the week and do not work 7days/week (See hours for more details)
5. First year of employment healthcare benefits are no cost, after 1 year their premium is $70/week but they have different wellness tasks (such as annual checkups) if they complete those wellness tasks annually will be $0/week. Spouse is similar they are $90/week but if the complete wellness checks it will be reduced to $20/week. Children/dependents is $0 cost.
6. 401K is 50 cents on the dollar up to 6%
7. Vacation time - at 60d they get 1 day & every 30 days get 1 day = 10 days in their first year. After 1st year they go into a different plan where they get 11 days off then 12, it maxes at 20 days off. They also get holiday pay and floating holidays
8. Perfect attendance policy - if they have perfect attendance for 1 month they get a $0.30 raise for straight time, $0.45 for OT, if they have perfect attendance for 7 months then they get $0.50 raise straight time and $1 for OT.
9. Perfect attendance PTO -for every 30 days of perfect attendance they get 2 hours vacation
10. Overtime appreciation hours, they will get extra vacation time for picking up OT
11. They do a lot of promoting from within, this is an opportunity to get into maintenance or entry level engineering position
