Summary
Coordinates a variety of administrative functions for the Services and Internal Linen Departments. Coordinates all linens for the hospital and RCF, reconciles vendor invoices, resolves issues and prepares departmental linen usage reports for departments. Will perform duties of Linen Aide as needed based on changing Operational needs of the department.
Experience
Customer service experience necessary. Experience with distribution in a healthcare setting highly recommend
Education
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Essential Functions
1. Assist supervisor with duties which include but are not limited to, responding to service calls, prioritizing requests, and delegating as necessary. This position will report to the Director of Environmental Services.
3. Develops and maintains an awareness of available linen resources and makes recommendations to Director for Environmental Services regarding needs, distribution, or redistribution of these resources.
4. Assists with administrative functions in support of department objectives to include review and approval of shift reports and duty logs, maintenance of departmental compliance files and department information boards.
5. Coordinates the linen management program to include the review of oversight of the linen reject process, completion of quality inspections, establishment of par levels, customers rounds.
6. Coordinates equipment and supply process for the department which includes development and maintenance of inventory, management of par levels on all supplies.
7. Provides ongoing training and assistance to new and incumbent personnel regarding of policies and procedures and ensures ongoing compliance with these requirements.
10. Coordinates weekly linen inventories for store room and warehouse. Plans and leads biannual hospital wide linen inventories

Pay Rate Ranges from $16.54 - $25.80 per hour.
