Summary: Seeking experienced Linux Administrators for maintaining multi-user computer systems, including Linux-based servers and clusters, with a focus on system performance and security.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience (additional experience may substitute for the degree)

DoD 8570 certification - Security+ and OS cert (Linux+, RedHat, etc.) within 90 days

General knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems

Top Secret security clearance required (TS/SCI preferred)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Storage Architectures: SAN, SAS, FC, SATA

Ability to understand application scaling issues related to problem resolution and algorithm choice

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems

Coordinate with network administrators

Set up administrator and service accounts

Maintain system documentation and tune system performance

Install system-wide software and allocate storage space

Develop policies for computing resource allocation

Participate in installation, integration, acceptance testing, and maintenance of HPC systems and software environment

Pay Details: $65.00 to $87.00 per hour
