Description We are in search of a Linux Clustering System Admin to join our team based in Fort Worth, Texas. As an integral part of our healthcare and social assistance operations, you will be responsible for Linux cluster system administration and SLURM configuration. This role also requires scripting abilities with Python, Bash, and Shell. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Administering and managing Linux cluster systems. • Configuring and managing SLURM. • Scripting automation processes using Python. • Utilizing Bash for automation scripting. • Employing Shell Scripting for automation tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Linux operating system is a must for this role. Candidates should have a deep understanding of Linux distributions and system commands, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve Linux-related issues. • Familiarity with Slurm workload manager is a key requirement. Applicants should have hands-on experience in managing and maintaining Slurm clusters, including workload scheduling and resource allocation. • Knowledge of Python programming language is necessary. The role requires the ability to automate tasks and develop scripts using Python. • Proficiency in Shell Scripting is another crucial skill. Candidates should be comfortable with writing and debugging shell scripts to automate routine system administration tasks. • Experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry would be advantageous. Understanding of industry-specific systems and compliance requirements will be beneficial. • The role demands a strong problem-solving ability. Candidates should be able to diagnose and fix issues in a high-pressure environment. • Excellent communication skills are required as the role involves collaboration with other team members and potentially explaining complex technical issues to non-technical staff.
